Thank you – I love collecting images that are inspiring – my Pinterest boards for architecture have a lot more where these came from – just look me up there, if you’re a “Pinner”. 🙂
For me the time-eater is writing (my current book manuscript), so Pinterest is a “filler” – when I’m on a break, or when I’ve got time at lunch or just before my hubby comes home, or a singing student arrives.
Yes; in a few weeks I’ve also got a weekend vocal coaching seminar coming up; I’ve had a medical URI since November, so I’m hoping to get my own voice back into shape before then…! That’s IF I can get rid of this bug!!!
I hope you soon have your voice back. What kind of music do you like to sing? My husband and I were in a madrigal group at university, and we’ve always sung in church choirs.
I’ve sung on stage, with the exception of the last 4 years, since I was 4; I’ve sung in Jazz sextets, a capella, trios, duets, worship teams, madrigal, renaissance, Celtic, classic, Gospel, you name it. I love to sing Celtic, and old Jazz. I’ve sung with 4 albums to date, plus commercials for radio when I was around 11 or 12. That’s it in a nutshell! 🙂 Not singing is driving me mad!
There are a few clips, in Swiss German, from one of my husband’s albums: http://www.plauschimraege.ch In the right-hand column, click “Jukebox”; a small popup will list the song clips; you can hear my voice as the lead on #3 & #8. We’re working on getting albums onto Spotify…
I’m worried that I don’t either but maybe I can make it work.. I’m also worried that it will be an organizational nightmare. Can’t hurt to give it a go right?
I’m pretty sure that if I organized our library by colour, we would find ourselves racking our brains trying to remember a book’s colour rather than the title! At least the way it is now, I know where to find my history books, novels, etc.
Maybe you could make book covers in the colours you need, writing the title on the spine, but leaving them where you know you’ll find them… that might be a nice compromise!
My eyes were glued to the slide show. What innovation! That was delightful.

I have an account, but I never look at Pinterest. Should try to see yours. Blogging takes up way too much time.

Singing student? Do you give voice lessons?

That is most impressive. It is excruciating to want to sing when you can’t. How I wish I could hear you! Do you have a small clip you might post?

Wonderful! I listened to those two. You have a lovely, clear voice. I’m so glad to have heard you.
Thank you! I can’t wait to sing again…
Your wordless Wednesday speaks volumes. Nice post Stephanie.
Thank you! 🙂
I’ve been wanting to organize my book shelf by color… i think it looks awesome!
It does look great – but I don’t have enough books in the varying colours to make it look that good.
